January 15th, 2009I’ve decided to remove StormBlocks from the app store. Thanks to those of you who have purchased it in the past (or enjoyed it while it was free). If you really liked it and want to see a version for Windows or Linux let me know and I’ll port it over when I have some free time. Should be fairly simple.

Also, my maiden voyage into iPhone development, StormBlocks, is now completely free! Please support me if you appreciate this game by trying Draconis, thanks!
Draconis Review
November 2nd, 2008Theres already a review of Draconis up, the site owner contacted me literally an hour or two after the game went live: http://www.mobiriot.com/2008/11/01/iphone-app-review-draconis/
He seems to have missed the purpose of the SP drops, so you don’t get a good preview of one of the cooler features of the game, but good general overview.
With the 1.10 update, he gives it a 9/10 and a “buy this game!”
Draconis Now Available in the AppStore!
November 1st, 2008- Draconis is an arcade-style 2D/3D shoot-em-up using OpenGL ES on the iPhone
Its very fast and challenging, but there is an “Easy” difficulty included for those who aren’t used to the intense action of most SHMUPs.
This game uses almost all aspects of the iPhone to offer good graphics, control, and gameplay.
Tilt your phone to move your ship up/down/left/right.
Hold one finger on the phone to fire standard shots.
Tap two fingers to fire your special attack.
Tap the top and bottom of the screen at the same time to pause for a breather!
Also, your ship has a special ability you’re not used to in shoot-em-up games: It has an energy shield that protects you from straight-on hits, and not only that but it deflects the enemies’ shots right back at them! Use it to your advantage!
This game has many unique enemies, 5 unique levels with their own bosses, and literally unlimited gameplay if you’re really good! Once you beat the 5th unique boss, the game wraps back around for an even more challenging trek through the levels!
Purchase fast! There will be more levels coming as updates!
Announcing Draconis - 2d/3d Arcade SHMUP
October 30th, 2008I’m pleased to announce that I will soon submit my next game to the iTunes store. This game called Draconis is a 2D/3D shoot-em-up that aspires to be a game along the lines of Mars Matrix for the Dreamcast.
Just because of its old-school roots don’t think the game is bland though! The game has unique gameplay features which will be made public when the game is approved by Apple.
A teaser video is on the way. Check back soon!
StormBlocks
October 30th, 2008- StormBlocks is a challenging reaction game utilizing the responsive iPhone/iPod touchscreen.
A never-ending stream of colored blocks fall from the sky at an ever-increasing speed as you try to tap every one of the target color. But watch out, the target color changes as you play. String together multiple blocks without a mistake and you increase your streak multiplier to gain even more points! The number of levels available in this game is limited only by your own fingers and eyes reaction time!
If you tap the wrong blocks then your score drops down, making it harder to get to the next level, so be careful as the speed increases quickly after the first few levels. If you miss 3 blocks in a row, them its game over!
There are two special blocks to watch out for as well to help you on your mission to set a new high score:
MultiBlock - Cycles through all colors and for a limited time any colored block on the screen is fair game. Combine this block with a high multiplier for tons of points.
TimeWarp - This block slows the passage of time temporarily so you can make a last-minute save to keep that streak going.
